Questions

Are my images uploaded when I convert them to PDF?

No. The PDF is built in this browser tab and saved straight to your device. No server ever receives your images.

Which image formats can I convert to PDF?

JPEG, PNG, GIF, WebP, BMP, TIFF, ICO and JPEG 2000 work in any modern browser. HEIC, AVIF and JPEG XL work where your browser can open them.

Can I convert iPhone HEIC photos to PDF?

Yes, in Safari, and in any browser on an iPhone or iPad with iOS 17 or later. Chrome and Firefox on a computer cannot open HEIC photos, and wtfpdf tells you when that happens.

Does converting lower the quality of my photos?

Not with Image quality set to Original. JPEG and most PNG images go in exactly as they are. Choose High quality, Balanced or Smaller to make the PDF smaller.

Can I choose the page size?

Yes. Pick Same as image, A4, Letter or a custom size. You can also set the orientation, the margins, and whether each image fits the page, fills it or keeps its original size.

Is photo location data copied into the PDF?

No. wtfpdf does not copy EXIF data, such as GPS location or camera details, from your photos into the PDF.

Can I make a separate PDF for each image?

Yes. Under Output, choose One PDF per image. The PDFs download together in a ZIP file.
