Questions
Is my PDF uploaded when I split it?
No. The file is split in this browser tab and each part is saved straight to your device.
How do I write page ranges?
Separate ranges with commas, and use a hyphen for a run of pages. 1-3, 5, 8-12 makes three files, and 8- means page 8 to the end.
Can I split every page into its own file?
Yes. Choose Every page as its own file. Your browser may ask once to allow several downloads.
How do I split a batch scan into separate documents?
Put a blank sheet between the documents before you scan, then choose At blank pages. The blank pages mark where each file ends and are left out. Tick Scanned on both sides if your scanner scanned both sides of each sheet.
How do I extract just a few pages from a PDF?
Enter a single range, such as 4-6, and you get one PDF with only those pages. The Organise tool can also extract pages you pick by hand.
Can I split a password protected PDF?
Yes. wtfpdf asks for the password first. Every file it saves keeps the password and permissions of the original.
How do I split a scanned page in half?
Use Split in half in the Crop tool. It cuts each page into two, such as a scan of two facing book pages.
