Private by design
Your file is never uploaded. The PDF engine runs in this browser tab and the result is saved straight to your device. You can check: open your browser’s network panel while you work and you will see no request carrying your file. After your first visit it even works offline. How wtfpdf works
Questions
Are my files uploaded when I merge them?
No. The files are read and joined in this browser tab, and the merged PDF is saved straight to your device. No server ever receives them.
How many PDFs can I merge at once?
There is no set limit on files or pages. Because the work happens on your device, the only limit is its memory.
Can I merge password protected PDFs?
Yes. wtfpdf asks for the password of any file that needs one. The merged PDF keeps the password and permissions of the first protected file.
Does merging change the quality of my PDFs?
No. Pages are copied across as they are. Text, images and fonts are not converted or compressed.
Can I merge PDFs on a Mac, iPhone or Android phone?
Yes. wtfpdf runs in any modern browser, including Safari, Chrome, Firefox and Edge, on desktop and on mobile. There is nothing to install.
Is it really free?
Yes. There is no account, no trial, no watermark and no daily limit.
